Ecotique: Aromatherapy Stress Relief Blend Oil Review

Hello Readers,

Today i am going to review an essential oil from Ecotique. Its the Aromatherapy stress relief blend oil

Essential oils are good, powerful and are considered a natural remedy to relieve stress, tension, anxiety, relax the mind & body.

This particular essential oil for stress relief is 100% natural and is a combination of Spearmint, Lavender Bulgarian, Lemon, Rosemary pure essential oils.

Lavender Bulgarian  helps in soothing and calming, Lemon helps in refreshing, Rosemary helps with stress, Spearmint helps in relaxing.

It comes in a blue transparent glass bottle with a screw cap. It also has a stopper inside. But when i got the bottle it was leaking. This is not travel friendly as per me. This 10ml bortle is priced at 499rs. Its shelf is 2 years from mfg date. The scent is medium types…not too strong and not mild either.

My Experience:

I have used this quite a number of times by adding 3-4 drops in my bathing water. My entire bathroom gets filled with the scent of this essential. The scent gives so much positivity to my mind and provides the much needed relief. It brings a sense of calm and my mind is at peace. This is the best way to relax your mind and body after you have had an stressful day. With combination of so many pure essential oils it surely helps to cope with stress. This makes my bathing sessions so much more peaceful and gives me that luxurious feeling too. You can also simply add a drop of this essential oil to your cream and massage on your hands to help you relax.

Pros

  • 100% Natural
  • Contains the best essential oils
  • Calming, relaxing, uplifting
  • Effective
  • Helps relieve stress

Cons

  • Not travel friendly
  • Costly

Aster Luxury Soaps Review

Hello Readers, how you all are doing ? Enjoying the Navratras? (Do leave your comments below☺)
So todays post is all about Luxury Soaps From Aster Every once in a while we all feel like indulging ourselves in some sort of luxury. Be it in the form of travel, beauty or anything luxurious. But due to our tight working schedules we dont always find time to indulge in luxury. You dont always get that luxury ‘Me Time’ like going to a spa to get yourself pampered. But now you can turn your bath into a spa like experience at your home with the Luxury Soaps from Aster.
Aster have a vast range of premium quality soaps both in transparent & opaque form. To name a few they have lavender , coconut, aloevera, coffee, strawberry and the list is endless. They have something for every mood. 😁 Aster claims their soaps to be handmade, natural , paraben free, preservative free, no animal testing, no harsh chemicals. These luxury soaps are skin healthy, soothing and provide natural protection to the skin. Aster Soaps use natural ingredients such as Coconut Oil, Sorbitol, Castor Oil, Myristic Acid etc. Even their packaging is luxurious.

So i got two variants of Aster soaps here today – Coconut & Turmeric

Aster Luxury Coconut Soap

image

I never thought even a coconut soap can be luxurious untill i used this one. Many of us think that only variants like strawberry and lavender are luxurious. But no,thats not true. Spa’s mostly use coconut oil for their spa sessions, for it is an excellent healer and health booster.

image

This coconut bar from Aster is white in colour and comes wrapped inside a butter paper. It has the brand name Aster carved on it. It smells purely of ‘khopra’. This 125g bar costs Rs 200.

If you could tap on the image you can read all the ingredients of the soap.

My Experience: Even without opening the Soap box i could smell that khopra smell. And that smell made me irresistible to use the soap. The soap lathers easily and it creates a creamy lather and the emitting coconut aroma which is surely going to make you feel calm and relaxed. It nourishes and soothes my skin. I did not feel any major dryness on my skin. This soap is great to use when you are tired due to physical activity. The coconut bar makes my skin feel fresh and clean all day long.

Aster Luxury Turmeric Soap

image

Well here i am not going to say that turmeric will give you a luxurious feeling. But turmeric has a number of skin benefits. It helps in treating skin diseases as dangerous as skin cancer. Its also effective in treating acne, eczema, rashes etc.

image

The Turmeric Bar is Yellow in Colour and smells purely of haldi when you smell the bar. It contains same ingredients as the coconut soap except that it contains Turmeric Fragrance. This is 125g Bar priced at 200rs.

My Experience The soap lathers easily but honestly i dont like the smell of this one. I did not enjoy using this soap as much as i did using coconut soap. Though it cleans and nourishes skin i dont get that refreshing feeling. I guess its because of the smell.

Pros
Natural
No harsh chemicals
Soothes and nourishes the skin
Good packaging
No animal testing
Handmade
Smells good ( cococnut variant)
Decently Priced
Perfect for gifting options too

Cons
Smell of the Turmeric soap is ok types ( This may not be a con for everyone)
Contains Propylene Glycol and cocoamido propyl betaine.

Rating: 4/5 for Coconut soap
3/5 for Turmeric soap

Junaili Apricot Body Scrub Review

Hello Readers 🙂
Remember I had introduced you all to a new brand called Junaili a few days back wherein i had reviewed a Apricot Body Oil from their range. Check it HERE  Today i am reviewing yet another product from Junaili. Its the Apricot Body Scrub. Before you continue to read the review please check out about Junaili HERE

Junaili Apricot Body scrub

image

About the scrub- The scrub is made in himalayas from the finest apricots and is 100% pure and chemical free. No parabens, no preservatives, no artificial fragrance, no animal testing. The scrub is gentle and suitable for all skin types. The scrub is in powder form and it has got a smell of walnuts which is so pure and nothing artificial.

image

Packaging – The scrub comes in a transparent plastic jar with a screw cap. I wish there was a protection lid beneath the jar cap. Price, mfg date, best before everything has been mentioned on the jar. I love the jar packaging. It looks classy on my bathroom shelf.

image

Price: 250rs for 125gms
Best Before 12 months from mfg date

My Experience: The scrub needs to be combined with water or milk while using. So i combined the scrub with water and applied it on my body and my first thoughts were ‘wow it feels so smooth on my skin ‘. When i applied it my skin felt so smooth and the scrub is extremely gentle on my skin. You can feel the skin so smooth in just one use.  The scrub can be used on face too. Apricot removes dead skin cells ,blackheads, unblock pores & cleans the skin gently. It is said to be good for Acne too.  I used the scrub on my face and to be honest my face did not like it. Its not harsh on the face but still i did not enjoy using it on my face as much as i did while using it on my body. If you want to use on face i recommend you mix it with raw milk and then use it.

Do i recommend it? Yes totally. The product being free from parabens and chemicals wont harm your skin and is extremely gentle. The product is pocket friendly too. It’s hard to find natural and chemical free products at such reasonable rates. So go for it. I am sure you are going to love it.

Handcrafted soaps from Soap Factory- Introduction & Review

Recently i came across a brand called SOAP FACTORY on facebook which sells handcrafted soaps. I am very fond of handmade soaps especially when they look extra cute and smells wonderful. Soap Factory is a brand based in Mumbai and owned by jayshree Rukhana. They have the cutest handmade soaps in different sizes, shapes and colours. The soaps are totally free from parabens & sles. So there is less of foam. They use a lot of olive oil..castor oil…coconut oil..grapeseed oil…along with Shea butter n cocoa butter. Colors are either cosmetic colors which are skin safe…but mostly edible colors are used…due to which they turn duller if kept for long. Fragrances as well as essential oils are used wherever possible. Their price range starts from 50rs for a bar of 75gms. However prices may vary depending upon the size and shape of soaps. They also make customised soap hampers for baby showers, return gifts, wedding favours etc.

I received few soaps from Soap Factory in different variants like strawberry, lavender, green apple, neem, almond, peach, orange, lime and few more. All of the soaps smells just amazing. The smell is not overpowering. Each of the soaps have their own unique smell & colour. Have a look
image

Out of all these the soaps i have used Green Apple, lavender, orange & Strawberry. I am yet to use the remaining soaps.

Moha Nourishing herbal soap review

We all need something good, natural & luxurious for our skin. Something which looks & smells lovely and at the same time is skin friendly. Be it shampoo , facewash, creams, soap etc. However these days mostly natural/herbal skin products  in the market today have a very low concentration of natural herbal actives. These makes them less effective & hence less likely to completely tackle the health & beauty problems they are targeted at. This is when the MOHA product range is being introduced by CHARAK. Charak is renowned for the high quality of its products.

Today i am going to review a herbal soap from their Moha product range.

image

About the soap as mentioned by the brand : Moha soap is rich luxurious herbal soap enriched with oils of neem, basil & aloe that  nourishes & moisturises skin leaving it soft, supple & infection free.
