TBC by Nature: Sunblock Everyday Mattifying Cream SPF 30+

One of the things i hate about hot summer sun is the damage it does to the skin. My skin gets super oily and tanned as soon as i head out in hot sun. Which means, if i apply a sunscreen/sunblock cream while heading out, my skin tends to get more oily and sticky. Therefore i prefer not to apply anything on my face. But one must also know that a sunscreen/sunblock cream  is a must to protect the skin from sun damage. I have tried a number of suncreens and sunblocks but nothing seems to suit my skin. Everyday there is this constant fight in my mind  whether to or not to apply. On one side i hate getting my skin oily and on the other side i also fear my skin getting damaged. I am sure many of you might be facing the same issue as me. But hey, look i have found the solution —>

Sunblock Everyday Mattifying Cream SPF 30+ from TBC by Nature

Recently TBC by Nature has come up with suncare range and one of the product from their suncare range is this Sunblock Everyday Mattifying cream Spf 30+ with organic carrot oil & grape juice.

About the product / Direction of use / Ingredients –

 The product is

  • Organic
  • Not tested on Animals
  • 100% veg
  • Fragrance free
  • LLP, Silicon, PABA free
  • Eco Certified

Packaging : It comes in tube with a flip cap. The tube comes inside a cardboard box. All the information has been mentioned both on the tube as well as cardboard box. Love the colour and the floral design on the tube.
The Sunblock cream is white in colour and has medium consistency.

Priced at 349rs for 120g

My Experience –

I was very excited to use this cream as it has the words ‘ mattifying’ on it.  As for all the oily skin beauties the word mattifying is the key. The cream is light in weight and doesn’t feels heavy on the skin. It needs to be massaged properly in order to get it completely absorbed by the skin. It doesn’t makes the skin oily nor leaves a whitish cast And also keeps my skin hydrated. My face looks a little radiant after applying this. But the radiant effect vanishes after a few hours. Zinc oxide & titanium dioxide present in the cream are very effective in protecting the skin from UV rays. The cream also contains organic carrot oil & grape juice to fight against aging effects of the sun on skin. Overall a good product. Totally recommended.

Green Leaf – Pure Aloe Vera Skin Gel Review

Aloe Vera is called the fountain of youth and the first aid plant and rightly so. It has been used since ages for its soothing & healing properties. Today many ancient tales of aloe vera has been proven  to be factual as modern medicine unlocks the wonders bursting within Its leaf.

Recently i got a chance to try the Aloe Vera gel from BRIHANS NATURAL

The Aloe Vera gel comes in a round plastic pot with a screw cap. The pot is sealed with silver thick paper. All information regarding Price, Expiry, Ingredients, Volume etc has been mentioned on the cap. Though i love the cute pot packaging, its unhygienic too. I have to dip my fingers inside which i kind of don’t like.

Price – 100rs for 120g

Best Before – 2years from mfg date

Ingredients – Aloe Vera, Base and preservatives q.s.

Colour – Brilliant Blue FCF, Tartrazine.

The gel appears to be green because it has colours added to it. It has faint smell.

My Experience : I have been using this for a while now and find it bit dry for my combination skin. My skin feels a little tight after using it. So i apply it only when i head out in hot sun, that  way my face doesn’t gets oily. I also use it as a night cream and also apply on my pimples to keep the oilyness away. This product is good for summers.  You can also use this under your makeup. It acts as a nice base.I have tried it and my makeup doesn’t melts  when i head out in sun. Also i feel that the added colours were not necessary at all. I like Aloe Vera Gels that are white , just like the gum of Natural Aloe Vera Leaf.

If you have oily skin then you must surely try out this.

BEAUTY – Beauty Friends Potato Essence Mask & Luke Hyaluron Essence Mask Review

Hello Readers,

I know i have been MIA from the blog for quite some time now thats because i wasn’t keeping well. Now i am feeling a little better and its good to be back in action.I have a lot of posts pending so expect back to back blog posts from me.

So after being back in action the first thing that i decided to review is sheet masks from I tried out 2 sheet masks, both from different brands. One from Luke and the other from Beauty FriendsII.

Beauty Friends II potato essence mask- I decided to try the potato mask first since i wasnt familiar with the other one. This potato mask is from brand Beauty Friends II. Just so that you now there are 22 types of masks from Beauty friends. One of then being Potato Essence Mask.

This Potato Essence mask contains potato extracts that helps the skin absorb nutrients which in turn helps to deeply moisture the skin. It helps to repair damanged and rough skin. Also helps in getting rid of dark and puffy areas.

My Experience: The pack contains a single sheet.Unlike other sheet masks that i have used this one wasn’t overloaded with essence. I applied on the face and kept it on for 15mintues. I did not notice and irritation while the mask sat on my face. After 15 minutes i decided to take off the mask. After taking off i massaged the excess essence into my face. You dont need to wash the dace after removing the mask. That’s the best part of these sheet masks. My skin felt softer and highly moisturised. My face was looking so fresh and bright. It helped me get rid of dullness. This sheet mask has now become one of my favourite. Apart from this  aloe soothing mask from Four seasons and Moisturising cucumber pack from purederm are my extreme favourite.

You can buy this Potato Essence mask from HERE Trust me you are going to love this one.

Luke Hyaluron Essence Mask- The next sheet mask that i tried is hyaluron essence mask from Luke. Honestly i had no idea what i was putting on my face. I dont know what hyaluron means. So before using i decided to google the same and what i read is that its a hyaluronic acid which is used as a ingredient in many facial creams. That it has great restoration properties & can boost skin’s moisture content. It also helps in lubricating skin layers making skin smoother and softer.

My Experience – As usual i cleaned my face and applied the mask. Did not feel any irritation. After 15minutes i removed the mask and massaged excess essence into my face. It refreshes the skin and improves its elasticity. It gives an Instant shot of moisturisation to my skin. At first i was a bit hesitant to use it but after using i simply like it. Though i am not going to try this again. You can buy and know more about the mask HERE

So thats all for now. If you ask me which mask you should go for i would definitely recommend the potato one.

Ethicare Remedies Acmed Facewash (For oily and acne prone skin) Review

Hello Readers today i am reviewing a face wash from the brand ethicare remedies.
Founded in 2003 Ethicare Remedies have launched innovative & quality products for skin, hair and body. Each product is designed specially keeping in mind of high quality, best performance & customer satisfaction. And of course all are pocket friendly too. Moreover the products are dermatologically tested.

So last week the brand sent me a summer kit containing 4 products. One of the product is the Acmed face wash. I decided to try the facewash.Since my readers wanted me to review it first.

What the Product Claims?
Acmed face wash is used to cure acne which cleanses excess oil, dirt and dead skin. Tea tree oil used in Acmed ensures anti-bacterial action against bacteria common to pimple prone skin. Acmed also has a breakthrough innovation like pimple care globules that you can actually see penetrating in your skin while you wash your face, ensuring proper delivery of pimple care active ingredients.

Packaging, Price, Ingredients
The face wash comes in a transparent tube with a tight flip cap. Its transparent and has purple beads inside it. It has a medium consistency. Neither thick nor runny. It smells a bit like aloe vera. It is loaded with Tea Tree oil, vit E, D-panthenol and Aloe Vera. It is priced at 180rs.

My Experience
I have acne prone skin so i was very much eager to try this face wash. Plus i was way excited to use it because i love its ingredients. I love products which are loaded with tea tree oil or aloe vera because these ingredients are really effective on the skin. I am using this facewash for one week now and i am pretty much comfortable with it. Its gentle on my acne prone skin & doesnt irritates my skin. Cleanse the skin well removing excess oil and dirt. I did not feel any major dryness on my skin after using it. In case your skin feels dry thats also good actually for acne and oily skin. Though i have acne i cant really comment on the acne reduction thing because acne takes time to heal. And for this the product needs to be used for a longer period. The facewash lathers decently and only a small amount is required for the entire face. With safe ingredients, safe surfactant base & slightly acidic ph Acmed is clearly safe to use.

I totally recommend this face wash.

Regular cleansing with this fine powder helps to brighten skin and bring glow and radiance to the face. Gently and thoroughly removes dead skin cells and grime, leaving skin deeply cleansed.

How does it looks and smells? It is in the form of grounded powder and smells strong of rose oil

How to use? Mix one teaspoon with rose water or milk to form a wet paste. Using circular upward movements, gently scrub the paste over your face and neck, avoiding the eyes.  Its best to leave on as a mask for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry

My Experience
I have acne prone skin and hence i use scrubs rarely. Because for a reason i find them harsh on my acne prone skin. I used this rose facial scrub only once and i found it very gentle on my skin. I mixed the scrub with milk to make a paste and then applied it. I kept it on for few minutes and then washed off my face. It made my skin so soft. My skin was looking cleaner and it did not irritate my skin. I did not feel the need to run and grab a moisturiser. Thats because it didn’t dry out my skin. Also i love its scent. Its very soothing. People with dry skin are going to love this scrub more. If you have oily skin try mixing this scrub only with water instead of milk and then use it.

Do i Recommend it?
Yes totally. Its natural and suitable for all skin types. Plus its gentle and effective.

Last week i received few products from Aroma Essentials to be reviewed on my blog. One of them was Green Tea face wash and i am going to review it today.

The face wash comes in a plastic bottle with a flip cap. It also has a stopper inside. The packaging is simple.

Ingredients: Greentea, black tea, geranium ,peppermint ,lavender aloevera juice

It is priced at 150rs. Quantity wasnt mentioned on the bottle.

Best before 6 months from mfg date.

The facewash is Brown in colour and has gel like texture.

My experience: I have acne prone skin & i am holding the right product in my hand.Green tea has some pretty cool acne clearing effects. It is one of the most natural ways to help skin appear brighter & flawless. I take a peanut size amount on my palm & massage it gently on my face in circular motions for about a minute. The face wash doesn’t forms lather which is kinda good actually. Because the more lather a product creates the more drying it is and vice versa. I felt a cooling sensation on my face while applying the face wash. After washing my face i can see my skin clean. It did not dry out or stretched out my skin. Its gentle and wont harm your skin in any way. For it to work on acne the product needs to be used continuously for longer period. I have used it for 4-5 times and find it good. It is suitable for acne prone, dry as well as oily skin types. The best part is it is free from chemicals, artificial fragrance. It is dermatologically tested & made using the finest natural ingredients.

I totally recommend this product.

I wish ingredients & quantity were also mentioned on the bottle. So my personal rating for this product is: 4/5.
